The Economic & Community-Based Development program aims to afford communities real opportunities for growth and revitalization. The framework of the program is embodied in two key principles – Economic Opportunity & Sustainable Community Development.

The first priority in revitalizing distressed communities is to create economic opportunities- jobs and self employment opportunities - for community members. The program provides opportunities for entrepreneurial initiatives, small business expansion, and training for jobs that offer upward mobility.
